BC Transit and the Victoria Regional Transit Commission will roll out service changes on April 14 to accommodate increased demand from commuters and tourists.

Weekday service on Route 75, between Keating Cross Road and downtown, will see improvements, along with expanded weekend service to Butchart Gardens.

Adjustments to Route 70 and Route 72 will better align with ferry schedules, while weekday trip times for Route 72 will also be modified.

Following public feedback, service levels will change on Route 24 (Cedar Hill/Tillicum Centre), Route 46 (Dockyard/Westhills), and Route 51 (Langford/UVic).

New bus stops are being added along Bear Mountain Parkway for Route 49 (Skirt Mountain/Langford Exchange).

With the spring session ending at UVic, Route 76 (Swartz Bay/UVic) will be suspended until fall, and other routes serving post-secondary institutions will see adjustments.

Temporary detours remain in place for Routes 32, 70, and 71 due to construction near Uptown. These buses will continue using Saanich Road instead of Ravine Way until June.

Full schedule details are available at bctransit.com/victoria.
