Don't know what to do with your aging Halloween pumpkin? Then head to the Pumpkin Smash Bash at the Tillicum Centre on Saturday, Nov. 2, between 12 and 2 p.m., where Saanich firefighters will drop aging jack-o-lanterns from a 100-foot ladder.
All dropped pumpkins require a donation to the Saanich Fire Charitable Foundation beforehand. The Gorge Tillicum Community Association will also provide donated pumpkins.
A DJ will be on site to spin tunes to keep beat with the exploding pumpkins. Starbucks will provide hot drinks and a Hot Dog Guys food truck will sell food.
