Sailings will run Thursday afternoon between Brentwood and Mill Bay.

BC Ferries had issued a service notice at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 17 stating the 10 afternoon sailings on the scenic shortcut were cancelled due to a staffing issue for the Klitsa.

However, the service provider updated the notice later in the morning, after securing the required crew to run the vessel.

Sailings between Brentwood and Mill Bay will run as scheduled for the rest of the day.

“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the earlier sailing cancellations.”
