Upcoming water main repairs by the Capital Regional District will restrict northbound traffic to a single lane on Island Highway.
Works will take place on Friday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m., in the vicinity of 1858 Island Hwy.
"This closure is necessary to accommodate urgent repair to a significant water main leak," says a City of Colwood news release.
Drivers have been advised to follow the directions of on-site traffic control personnel and adhere to all posted signage.
