The event will take place at the Victoria Conference Centre on Oct. 1 from 6:30 to nine p.m.

An all-candidates meeting will bring Victoria-Beacon Hill candidates face-to-face next week.

Organized by the Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA), the event will take place at the Victoria Conference Centre from 6:30 to nine p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Moderated by Gregor Craigie, the host of the CBC's popular radio show On The Island, candidates Tim Thielmann (B.C. Conservative), Grace Lore (B.C. NDP) and Sonia Furstenau (B.C. Green) will discuss topics important to businesses in Victoria.

"Downtown business owners and operators want to know how the candidates in Victoria-Beacon Hill plan to address the challenges of and opportunities for the area," said the DVBA in a news release. "As a nonpartisan, business-lead nonprofit, we are pleased to host this event to allow our members and the voting public to hear directly from the local candidates."

The DVBA will accept questions from Victoria-Beacon Hill residents, which the candidates will field at the start of the event.
