The Norwegian Jewel arrives in Victoria on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

One last cruise ship is set to arrive in Victoria on Wednesday, Oct. 30 to officially wrap up this year's season.

The Norwegian Jewel will be docking at Ogden Point from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with more than 2,300 passengers on board.

The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) says it's all looking positive looking at this year's arrival of 316 ships and about 970,000 passengers between April and October.

GVHA noted there were fewer ships this year compared to 326 in 2023, but saw above-capacity sailings which is indicative of the demand for Pacific Northwest cruise lines.

The season's first cruise ship, the Norwegian Bliss, arrived in Victoria on April 3.

GVHA says they're already into their 2025 schedule planning for the next cruise season.
