The BC Legislature grounds are set to transform into a vibrant tapestry of cultures on May 17 for Gordy Dodd’s 4th annual One World Multicultural Festival.

Presented by Dodd’s Furniture & Mattress and the Greater Victoria Festival Society, in cooperation with the City of Victoria, the festival promises a day of diverse entertainment, delicious food and family fun from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Belleville Street.

Attendees can explore local vendor stalls, enjoy international cuisine and keep the kids entertained with a bouncy castle.

The One World Stage will host a spectacular lineup of performers, including the Ukrainian Veselka Dancers, Vancouver Island Bhangra, Salsa Caliente Dance, singer Diane Pancel, Wong Sheung Kung Fu Club, Fiesta Latina-Ballet Folklorico of Victoria, Stages Performing Arts School Dancers, Ugandan rapper Poncho BF and 14-year-old singing sensation Seth Muyaba.

This year's celebration is dedicated to the BC Filipino Community and the Victoria Filipino-Canadian Association.

The free event promises a day of unity, cultural appreciation and family-friendly fun.
