Victoria Police Department investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or victims after a man was caught on camera allegedly firing a pellet gun at people in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.

Just before 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, VicPD says officers received reports of a man who discharged several shots with a pellet gun towards someone before leaving the area.

Officers conducted an "extensive" search for the suspect and were able to identify him with the available CCTV footage.

Witness or victim information will aid our work in holding those responsible for these behaviours accountable.”

Police say no victims have been identified, and officers are working to process and analyze evidence, with the intent of recommending charges to Crown counsel. The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody pending a future court date.
