Victoria police are looking for witnesses and dashcam footage from a suspected road rage incident that preceded a crash in the 400-block of Burnside Road East on Thursday, July 25.

Police and other first responders attended a crash between two vehicles on Burnside Road East around 11 a.m. on Thursday where one vehicle was towed and one driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatning injuries.

"Investigators believe there may have been pre-collision driving behaviour that led to the crash, as the vehicles travelled southeast on Burnside Road East, between Balfour Avenue and Frances Avenue," noted a release from VicPD.

The vehicles involved were reportedly a red sedan and a black pickup truck.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed "pre-collision driving behaviours" between the two vehicles and those with dashcam footage of the events to call the E-Comm report desk at 250-995-7654.
