Victoria police are asking for help from the public to find a missing 77-year-old man with dementia.
Police only gave his first name, which is Edgar, and he was last seen in the 500-block of West Bay Terrace in Esquimalt on Tuesday (Jan. 16). He was reported missing Friday.
Edgar is described as 5’6” tall, with a medium build, short white hair and a long white beard.
He usually travels by foot or by bus and is often in the Esquimalt area.
Edgar was last seen wearing a dark-coloured jacket and pants, a red hoody and a red baseball cap. He may be wearing rainbow-striped suspenders.
Anyone with information about Edgar’s whereabouts is asked to call Victoria police at 250-995-7654.
