Victoria police seek footage after several vehicles vandalized in Fernwood

Victoria police are asking for assistance after several vehicles were damaged in the Fernwood area early Thursday.

On Feb. 1 around 6 a.m., officers received multiple reports of vehicles vandalized with damage ranging from scratch marks to smashed windows and lights, VicPD said in a news release.

Police believe dozens of vehicles were affected along Gladstone Avenue, Stanley Avenue, Chestnut Street, Amphion Street, and Florence Street.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his mid-20s, 6’ with a slim build and brown curly hair. Police say he was wearing a grey jacket and riding a skateboard.

Officers searched the area but have yet to locate the suspect.
