Guests can sample a variety of Filipino food at the weekend market on April 12 and 13.

Victoria's Centennial Square will be transformed into a vibrant Filipino marketplace for the city's first-ever Filipino Weekend Market.

The event, running April 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., promises a delicious journey through Filipino cuisine, featuring over 40 market participants, including 16 Filipino food vendors and restaurants.

From savoury adobo and lechon to comforting pansit and the sweet treat of halo-halo, attendees can indulge in a wide array of authentic dishes as part of the 4th annual Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada.

Organized by the Philippine Bayanihan Community Centre, the weekend will offer more than just food.

A jam-packed schedule of activities includes traditional Filipino games, karaoke sessions, and other engaging experiences for all ages, ensuring a fun and culturally rich experience for the whole family.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event will also host a Japanese Spring Market, supporting Japanese student Haruhi Nakai's cultural project and adding a unique multi-cultural dimension to the celebration.

The Filipino Weekend Market is proudly supported by the City of Victoria through the OurDTWN Ideas Fund, highlighting the city's commitment to celebrating and supporting its diverse cultural communities.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the vibrant flavours and traditions of the Philippines right here in Victoria.
