Pacific FC fullback Kunle Dada-Luke will play in his centennial match as the club prepares to face the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Canadian Championship semifinal on Wednesday (July 10) in Langford.
According to a press release from the club, the game at Starlight Stadium is the third time the teams will face each other and 93 per cent is already sold. The previous outing saw Pacific FC beat the Whitecaps 4-3 in 2021.
"We love to play in big matches like this one where the pride of B.C. is on the line," Pacific FC captain Josh Heard said in a news release. "We hope everyone comes out to Starlight on Wednesday to cheer us on when we take on the Vancouver Whitecaps."
Fans at the game will be treated to a musical performance by Aaron Wylder at pre-match and halftime, along with a complimentary match poster, and crowds can take part in an autograph session with the team after the final whistle.
The match is the first of two legs, with the second game in Vancouver on Aug. 27.
The winner will either hit Forge FC from the Canadian Premier League or Toronto FC of Major League Soccer in the final, with the date to be decided.
