Saanich and Victoria Police are seeking the vandal who tagged a series of objects Victoria around Saanich with the disturbing phrase ‘Kill Cops.’
A District of Saanich work truck, the Burnside Gorge Community Centre sign, a door and the pavement of the Galloping Goose near Selkirk are all tagged with the phrase.

“It’s concerning anytime we see graffiti like that and we’re investigating,” said Const. Matt Rutherford of VicPD. “Crime Stoppers is assisting [by posting the pics to the media] in hopes of finding the people responsible.”
Both police departments shared the photos with Greater Victoria Crimestoppers, which broadcast them locally in an attempt to stir up information on the crimes.
Rutherford said there’s been at least four incidents that VicPD knows of over the last couple weeks, all in the Burnside Gorge area. Another one is being in investigated by the Saanich Police.
