A dial-a-dope operation was shut down last weekend when police pretended to be buyers.
On Saturday, 12:30 a.m., plainclothes officers arranged a meeting with a man, 28, and woman, 20, from Saanich who tried to sell them cocaine. The pair were cuffed and could be charged with possession and trafficking.
The officers seized $800 worth of cocaine, $335 cash and a cellphone from their vehicle.
