Hilary is a fourth-generation Victorian and an enthusiastic individual who believes that by being elected to the Victoria City Council, this offers an opportunity to make a difference to her community. She has a strong record of volunteering, Board Directorships and fundraising for a great diversity of non-profits. This enables her not just to keep informed of our communities’ issues but also to bring these issues to the table to discuss and find solutions. Through her professional career in international organizations (NATO, UN-WIPO, European Parliament), Hilary’s wealth of experience in governance, administration, political management and communications has her thinking outside the box and achieving results. Her interests include biking, running, singing and organizing events & fundraisers.
Why should I vote for you?
Council needs to change and take important decisions towards moving Victoria successfully through the 21st century. I represent this kind of change. From my career in international organizations, I bring experience in governance, decision-making, policy, strategy, consensus-building and administration.
Your main goal if elected?
My aim is to make sure all decisions are fiscally responsible ones and that they are based on evidence, sot suppositions and perceptions. Good finances make for a good city.
