Traffic has returned to two lanes on Highway 14 near Parkland Road as EMCON crews complete tree removal work in the area.
In a tweet sent out at 2 p.m. on Jan. 23, EMCON South Island said traffic would return to normal at around 2 p.m. At 3:19 p.m., the maintenance company announced work was complete.
Crews had been working on removing the trees since Jan. 21.
The tree crew is nearing completion #BCHwy14 at Parkland Rd ahead of schedule. Estimating traffic is open to two-lane, two-way by 4:00pm.
