Man caught urinating off stranger's balcony

For the second time in less than a month, nature's call came before good sense in Victoria.

"The first officers on scene found the man on the balcony – pants down to his ankles, stumbling about and urinating off the edge into the woman's front yard," VicPD deputy chief John Ducker wrote on his blog.

It was just before 4 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4 when a woman, who lives on Vining Street, woke to her dog's barks. She looked outside to see a man on her balcony and called police while hiding in her closet.

Seconds after police arrived to see the culprit relieving himself off the balcony, they learned he was quite drunk – "The suspect could not even recount his own name while asked," Ducker wrote.

The 23-year-old man was taken to VicPD cells to sober up, then released.

In late January, a car dealership was broken into overnight when a man sought the overwhelming need to answer the urge to take a leak. He was caught, arrested and considered for break-and-enter charges.
