Missing Esquimalt man prompts Victoria police plea

A concerned Esquimalt family and the Victoria Police Department are asking for public assistance in finding a missing man.

Thomas Stewart, 50, was last in touch with his family Aug. 21. He has not been seen or heard from since. Stewart is five-foot-nine, weights 190 pounds, and has greying brown hair and blue eyes. He keeps a beard and has longer hair.

Thomas' family indicated he was heading up-Island to do some work clearing land. Anyone with information on Stewart’s whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers or the VicPD non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654.
