A suspect is on the loose after robbing an Oak Bay bank with bear mace yesterday afternoon (May27).
The man – described as caucasian, in his early to mid 20s and about 5’8” with a slim build – entered the TD Canada Trust at Fort and Foul Bay roads holding a canister of bear mace and demanded money from a teller. He received an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank at about 3:40 p.m. He was wearing sunglasses and gloves with a blue bandana across his face, a blue dodgers baseball cap, blue Adidas jacket and blue jeans. He was last seen headed northbound on Foul Bay Road on foot.
No injuries were reported.
