The RCMP confirmed on August, 10 that Jacqueline Neuwirt had been found deceased. Neuwirth was last seen on Feb. 1 in Duncan. The 49-year-old was reported missing on July 29 and police said last week that they were concerned for Neuwirth’s health and well-being.
Police did not say when she was found but did note criminality is not believed to be a factor in her death.
“We offer our sincerest condolences to the friends and family of the deceased,” said Sgt. Vanessa Munn, spokesperson for the BC RCMP.
