Starting this week, Vancouver Street will be closed between Pandora Avenue and Johnson Street until the end of 2024.

The closure is due to the development at 975 Pandora Ave. In a traffic notice, the City of Victoria said two-way bicycle and pedestrian access will be maintained during the closure.

The 16-storey rental building approved for the corner of Pandora Avenue and Vancouver Street will have a total of 121 rental units built on top of commercial space. Fifty-four fully furnished living pods of three, four and five bedrooms will include a shared kitchen and living area, according to a release from Townline. Most bedrooms will have an ensuite washroom.
