Normal traffic has resumed in the affected area.
The Lougheed Highway (Highway 7) is closed in both directions for the second time in just as many days as emergency crews tend to a vehicle fire at Maria Lane near Agassiz.
Officials are asking drivers to seek an alternate route through the area. There are currently no reports of injuries.
