UPDATE: The RCMP have confirmed that Robert Clark has been located “safe and sound.”

Robert Clark’s family is worried and wants to hear from him.

The 31-year-old Duncan man hasn’t been seen since July 7 but it’s believed he left to go fishing the following afternoon.

“The last location his phone tracked was on Saturday afternoon in Port Renfrew, Pacheedaht First Nation near Deering Road and Pachdeh Road,” said his cousin Kate Bouchard. “It’s unusual not to hear from Rob, and his family is worried he may be lost, hurt or injured.”

Clark’s family has reported him missing to the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP and searches are being conducted by family and friends. The RCMP file is #3023-10937 for those who may have information. Police can be called at 250-749-5522.

Clark is described as standing six feet tall, weighing around 175 pounds. He’s got brown hair and blue eyes.

Clark drives a dark grey 2007 Volkswagen Jetta with a missing passenger side mirror and battered driver side mirror. It’s license plate is HF2 66W.

Meanwhile, a Facebook page has been set up to organize the search. Find it at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1065630104402335
