Royal Astronomical Society of Canada-Victoria is hosting International Astronomy Day at the University of Victoria Bob Wright building on Saturday (April 27).
Daytime events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. include telescope making, talking to astronomers, astro-photography and kids activities, and a number of talks in the lecture theatre.
Evening events from 7 to 11 p.m. include viewing with UVic’s 32-inch telescope.
