The West Shore RCMP’s bike unit arrested a man for an outstanding warrant on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Police said a man who had an unendorsed warrant for breaching his recognizance was arrested by the unit. He was believed to be evading police for some time.

According to police, the bike unit was following up on leads and conducting surveillance in an effort to locate the man.
The bike unit was able to find him, and he was brought before the provincial court.
“This is great work done by the West Shore RCMP bike unit,” said Const. Nancy Saggar of West Shore RCMP. “This type of work shows the diversity of the unit and its contributions to the West Shore community.”
