I agree with previous writers supporting leaving Beacon Avenue just as it is. The current configuration is pedestrian friendly.
It also makes it much easier for vehicles to cross as the drivers only need to be concerned about traffic flow from one direction.
I believe if it was returned to two-way traffic, signals would be required at more of the intersections on Beacon which would only impede the flow of traffic.
