I agree that forming a heritage committee is a good idea. The old post office building fits the bill nicely.
I do object to anything being done to the Beacon Wharf. This item as everyone knows is rotting away daily. Any expenditure of public funds on this item is a waste and in the long run, will cost the citizens of Sidney dearly.
Sentimentality has no place here. When the time comes, get rid of it and let Beacon Avenue end at the water.
