U.S. President Donald Trump considers Canada so "nasty" because we did not crumble before his greatness and outlandish expectations and threats of economic coercion. Canada expects the U.S.A. to honour its commitments and uphold its treaties, pacts and agreements – just as the U.S. and all other countries would expect. We expect him and his representatives to act like adults with some basic level of couth. Terminating memberships in world bodies does not mean he and the U.S. aren't accountable anymore.
The complaint about being the world's "piggy bank" is rather disingenuous since the massive (and growing) U.S. debt is largely money owed to other countries, Canada included.
