LETTER: Colwood council overlooks residents concerns over Sooke Road development

To say that I am disappointed with the mayor of Colwood and all but one (Coun. Cynthia Day) of the council members, on the approval of the development project at 2324 Sooke Rd., over the unanimous objections of the residents of Lynnlark Place, is an understatement.

I attended the council meetings regarding this development and heard of the concerns of my neighbours with regards to the six-storey height of the development and access to Sooke Road from Lynnlark Place and how it would adversely affect our neighbourhood.

It would appear that residents concern for their neighbourhood takes second place to developers with most of Colwood council. Thank you Coun. Day for listening and your vote of support.
