After sitting through yet another impromptu road closure on Lochside Drive, I am wondering when the Rise on Fifth will finally finish up enough to allow traffic to flow normally. They have continuously caused dangerous conditions by randomly crowding the road with vehicles, equipment and supplies.
Perhaps if the development had left a bit of an apron (and not built right to the very edge of the highway), they would have enough room to stage their neverending construction. It does make me hope that the Town of Sidney has put in place some guidelines to ensure that we don't go through this yet again when the Cedarwood Motel is redeveloped.
