LETTER: Donald Trump being criticized before even taking office

Most U.S. citizens recall times were worse under Biden and it showed in the votes

Here we go again commenting poorly on the U.S. election results and worrying before the winner is even in power. I'm not picking sides because neither candidate will affect me or most Canadians.

We all recall Jan. 6 but we seem to forget the democratic U.S. cities rioting and stealing when Trump was elected the last time. President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been promoting gender/hormone changes despite 80 per cent of the population opposing it, but TV media makes it seem like they're the majority. The U.S. learned the failures from open drug use in Portland as we are learning it doesn't work here.

It seems the Liberals and NDP are a carbon copy of U.S. Democrats. Elon Musk was heralded for bringing out EV cars but now he's controversial for supporting Donald Trump. Robert Kennedy Jr. is also a risk because he saw the results of ineffective vaccines and tried to promote holistic healing and good eating instead of letting "Big Pharma" kill more people than they save.

Most U.S. citizens recall times were worse under Biden and it showed in the votes. Just because you see a Black female as a potential president doesn't mean she can overcome the past faults of her boss. I find it insulting when political reporters talk about how the genders, university-educated, and visible minorities vote as this increases polarization. COVID-19 is the main reason the world has changed for the worse.

Biden, Trudeau, and the rest of the world leaders all broke the COVID-19 rules we had to abide by while doctors and health officials ran for the hills. Is this why we pay large global entities millions, so they can make poor decisions? Trump needs better speech writers and Biden sounds like all the previous Democratic presidents. It's time for both our countries to realize 'democracy' is not working. It's ironic that the parties with "democratic" in their name seem to think they abide by the word. May I suggest you look in the political rear-view mirror?
