I wonder who designed the bike lane on Fort Street at the corner of Foul Bay.
On Fort, in front of Save-On-Foods, there were at one time three car lanes: a dedicated left turn lane and two others going straight. One of those two allowed right turns. But that lane is gone, replaced by a bike lane.
If you want to go straight the former centre lane exists but if you want to turn right from that same lane and can’t because of mostly high school students crossing at that intersection you will be holding up all the vehicles behind you!
Bike lanes serve a purpose but impeding the flow of traffic is not one of them. Idling vehicles and air pollution is not one of these purposes either!
