When municipalities, provinces, or the country make decisions, any decisions, they should include in that process: "What Then?"

For instance, in modifying bylaws to permit increased housing, "What Then?" How will this impact future infrastructure, water supply, and so on.

In supporting an increase in mineral extraction: "What Then?" For instance, how does this affect environmental integrity? How does this affect our personal lives, say with water quality? What will a decision today affect our lives tomorrow?

Many of us have become anxious about the current emphasis on uninhibited economic growth. That emphasizes short-term gains but ignores long-term losses.

Please, you decision makers, include "What Then" as an integral part of your decision-making processes.
