How tiresome to keep hearing politicians and regressive activists raging against "DEI" and “woke” this or that.
With our federal opposition leader’s constant exploitation of Canadians’ fears and anxieties via his loud refrains that “Canada is broken,” he has incited many south of the border to repeat his claim and add, “This is why America needs to take over Canada!.”
Will any of these regressive people ever have the courage to state very clearly their beliefs that they do not want to: a) see people around them with different coloured skin; b) include any but their own culture reflected in society; and c) allow everyone in Canada to be treated equally?
Will they ever have the courage to clearly state that they do not want citizens to be well informed or aware, especially in a political or cultural sense – as reflected in the original definition of “woke”?
