In reference to the article about non-resident use of Oak Bay’s municipal dump. I have been using this facility for many years and rarely does an attendant check to see if a decal is on the front window of a vehicle. I have seen numerous vehicles use it without decals. I have seen out-of-province vehicles use it. I have seen many business vehicles use it. No one without a decal is ever questioned.
I have phoned public works and complained but little has been done.
