The proposed Draft Quadra McKenzie Plan does not make any sense at all. Today I drove from Brentwood Bay to Cedar Hill and had no option but to take Quadra and McKenzie. It was 4:30 p.m. and I was going the opposite way of the traffic leaving UVIC and downtown.
The route was very busy and I couldn’t help shaking my head wondering what the new altered drive would be like. Awful is all I kept thinking. I am 57 years old, own and ride an e-bike and am an avid walker. I play pickleball in Brentwood, please don’t punish me for travelling by car on roads I pay taxes to use.
