U.S. President Donald Trump has been groomed by the Russians for many years

This is in response to Matthew Claxton’s column, President Trump’s core beliefs resemble those of North Korea.

The New York Times bestseller House of Trump, House of Putin explains how U.S. President Donald Trump has been groomed by the Russians for many years, including spending hundreds of millions of dollars to rescue him from several bankruptcies, so that Trump is now a Russian asset.

This is not hyperbole, it is a view being increasingly held by serious analysts, including ex-NATO commanders and MI6 agents.  Trump’s recent behaviour is highly congruent with this information.

Some examples: Voting with Russia in both the UN General Assembly and Security Council. Vetoing statements by the G7 that seek to condemn Russia and create consensus. Vetoing a G7 proposal for a task force to combat Russian shadow oil fleet. Cutting off military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine. Halting offensive cyber operations against Russia. Dismantling American logistics base in Poland. Undermining NATO by casting doubt on its commitment to Article 5. Perpetuating and amplifying Russian talking points in America’s legislatures. The shocking treatment of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the oval office in which Trump and Vice-President J.D. Vance parroted well-known Kremlin propaganda against Zelensky. Trump is using tariffs to wreck the economies of the Western world, including that of the U.S.A., to weaken them.

It is not about getting a better deal for the U.S. as he claims. He and his cronies are dismantling critical U.S. institutions in the name of DOGE/reducing government waste in an attempt to destroy everything that the American republic has stood for since the War of Independence. His negotiating a "cease fire" for Putin's war against Ukraine is throwing a lifeline to Putin as this war is not going well for Putin as his military and economy are in real trouble and are on the verge of collapse.

If Trump was on the side of the West and of Ukraine he would be ramping up military supplies to Ukraine, increasing and enforcing sanctions, to step on Putin's throat which would result in complete defeat of Putin's war and crush his already rapidly failing economy creating a real peace for Ukraine, Europe, and eventually the Russian people.

Now Canada, and other Western countries including the U.S.A., are facing a threat not seen since the Nazi regime of the Second World War. I pray Western leaders would very soon publicly call out Trump for what he and his cronies are – Moscow agents governing America – and encourage the American people, who are also his enemy, to remove these traitors from the White House by any means possible.
