We would to express our sincerest thanks and deepest appreciation to two young people, on bikes, who assisted our adult daughter in safely crossing Lochside Drive last evening.
They saw her patiently waiting for an opportunity to safely cross the road while riding. They turned around, placed their bikes across the street, and said that she could now cross the road. Thank you.
There is no crosswalk near us and most drivers are either in a hurry to enter or exit Lochside and cannot seem to stop for one minute while a disabled, or any individual in fact, is trying to cross the road.
I hope this message of thanks will reach the intended pair of bikers.
Maybe the rest can take a moment to be thoughtful, patient and kind.
