RE: Robbins Parking loses Victoria airport contract to U.S. company after 41 years

Where is the buy, procure B.C./Canadian in this decision?

Both the B.C. and Canadian governments have asked us to support local by buying B.C. and Canadian products, avoid travel to the U.S. and instead support our Canadian travel industry.  As individuals, we have embraced this by purchasing  B.C. and Canadian-made – not U.S. brands – whenever possible. We will not choose to travel to the U.S., or support American airline carriers or cruise ships in the foreseeable future, but instead support our local and Canadian businesses.

How is YYJ supporting the Buy Canadian efforts by selecting a U.S.-based provider for parking services?
