Just like that, there's only five weeks to go in the CFL regular season.
But before we get to what we think will happen for week 17, let's take a look back at last week:
- In a gutsy effort, the Hamilton Tigercats kept their playoff hopes alive with a walk-off field goal to beat the Toronto Argonauts 33-31;
- Despite a 13-point fourth quarter by Calgary, the Saskatchewan Roughriders held on to win 37-29, ending their seven game winless streak;
- In what we thought would be the game of the week, it was probably the most boring game of the week as the Montreal Alouettes doubled-up the Ottawa Redblacks 24-12;
- And after a first half that totalled three points, Winnipeg and Edmonton had an offensive explosion in the second half but the Blue Bombers remain the hottest team in the league, winning their sixth straight game, 27-14.
As for us, Jordy 0/3 for the second straight week and is now 26/48 on the season while Bowen went 1/3 for the third straight week. He is now 25/48 on the campaign. Bowen's one win of the week was in the head-to-head match-up, but Jordy still leads 8-7 plus a tie.
