3 Downs, 3 Picks is a weekly CFL video breaking down news around the league and previewing the week ahead.

Week eight of the CFL season featured two close games and two blow outs.

Coming out of the bye-week, the Montreal Alouettes started slow but made a second half comeback to beat the Saskatchewan Roughriders 20-16. Ottawa crushed Calgary 33-6. Free football was needed in Toronto as the Argos beat Winnipeg 16-14 in overtime and Hamilton kept Edmonton winless, beating them 44-28.

As for us, Jordy enjoyed another 3/3, including winning the head-to-head match-up. He is now 17/24 on the season and has won four-straight head-to-head match-ups, leading 6-2. Meanwhile, Bowen got back in the win column, going 2/3 and is now 14/24 on the campaign.
