Esquimalt High School wrestlers performed well at the Island Novice Wrestling Tournament held in Courtney on November 29.
Khaya Mackillop grabbed a first place in the 60 kg School Girls while Theron Taylor came second in the 35 kg School Boys category.
In the Cadet Boys category Devin Lowrie at 57 kg and Alex Gaudet at 60 kg both placed second. Tyson Stapley took third at 41 kg and fourth place in the 66 kg category went to Tim Adona.
Esquimalt placed 3rd at the event in team points.
