"Our goal has always been to make powerful technology more accessible. More relevant. And ultimately, more personal."
That's what reads on Apple's website, the first paragraph on a page introducing the tech giant's new 'Watch'. And it's the mantra, it seems, for why the company is bringing its tested, true, and almost universally loved smart product to your wrist.
The watch will be available in Canada, the United States, and seven other countries on April 24, 2015, Apple announced on Monday at its latest Live event in San Francisco California.
Pre-orders will start on April 10.
"Apple Watch represents a new chapter in the relationship people have with technology," the website continues. "It's the most personal product we've ever made, because it's the first one designed to be worn."

Apple initially unveiled the Watch last September, in a similar keynote presentation from Cook that included several photos of the touch wrist device, and that also unveiled the iPhone 6 and its models.
There are three collections for the Watch – the basic model, a Sport model, and a high-end Watch Edition, which comes in an 18-karat gold case. There are then several models in each collection – 20 different models in the basic Watch collection, for example.
Business Insider sized up the new product's pricing on Monday, and says the most expensive Apple Watches will cost $17,000 USD. The cheapest Watch Edition model is $10,000, and the cheapest model of all of them is a $349 Sport.
