Visitors to Malahat SkyWalk can bring a father figure for free with the purchase of another full-price ticket this weekend.
The freebie comes just as the south Island attraction shifts into summer mode with food trucks, live music, bubble play and visits from awe-inspiring friends The Raptors.
Visitors and locals can also get a lift throughout the summer and into early fall with Malahat SkyWalk providing a free shuttle service to and from downtown Victoria, multiple times a day. Now through June 22 shuttles run Saturday and Sunday only. Starting June 28 and right through August, they run seven days week including holidays.
To pops in free June 14 and 15, purchase a regular ticket online as usual then pick up the free ticket ticket for dad, uncle, or favourite father figure at the scanning hut upon arrival. They’re limited to one free ticket per paid ticket.
The Malahat SkyWalk, fittingly off the Malahat mountain pass, includes a TreeWalk 20 metres above ground among a mature arbutus and Douglas fir forest that leads to a 10-storey architecturally stunning Spiral Tower. At 250 metres above sea level, the structure offers panoramic views at every level of Finlayson Arm, Saanich Inlet, Saanich Peninsula, Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands, Mount Baker and the Coast Mountain range.
Since its opening in July of 2021, the attraction has welcomed more than 800,000 guests from across the globe.
