Work in Sidney Perk Pass gives employees a chance to enjoy $200 worth of goods and services from participating business.

Employees who work in Sidney are getting a big thank you in the form of a $200 perk pass.

The 'Work in Sidney Perk Pass' gives new and existing employees a chance to enjoy free goods and services from businesses around town.

According to the Sidney Business Improvement Area Society (BIA), the perk pass is part of a special program designed to thank employees for their contributions to the town’s vibrant community.

It includes a $10 Sidney gift card, one free movie at Star Cinema, a free yoga class from All Ways Yoga, one free boxing class at Teddy’s Boxing Gym, one free mini scone from Sidney Scones, one free seven-day gym pass from Anytime Fitness, one free 12-ounce craft beverage from Fickle Fig, one free beer or non-alcoholic beverage from Small Gods Brewing and a free 10-oz beer or non-alcoholic beer/cider from Beacon Brewing.

The program will also help BIA learn more about the people who work in Sidney, including where they live, how long they’ve been employed in the area as well as their experiences working in the community.

Regular employees (full-time or part-time) of any Sidney-based company can pick up their perk pass at the Sidney Information Centre between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Only registered employees are eligible for the limited quantity of perk passes, which are non-transferable. Proof of employment (recent pay stub, business card, or employer verification) is needed when picking up the pass.
