Victoria business licence renewal due Jan. 15

All businesses must have a valid licence to legally operate in the City of Victoria.

Business owners in the City of Victoria are reminded that the deadline to renew a business

licence is Jan. 15.

All businesses must have a valid licence to legally operate in the City of Victoria.

Business licence renewal payments can be made:

• Online by visiting www.victoria.ca.

• By mail to: City of Victoria, 1 Centennial Square, Victoria, BC V8W 1P6

• In person at the Public Service Centre, located on the first floor of Victoria City Hall where cash, debit, cheque or credit card payments are accepted. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Access to the Public Service Centre is limited to the Pandora Avenue and Centennial Square entrances due to ongoing construction at City Hall.

• Online or in person at a local bank or financial institution. Business operators should use their licence

number noted at the top of the renewal notice as their account number.

A $25 late fee will apply to all business licence accounts with balances 31 days past due. For billing inquiries, contact the City of Victoria at 250.361.0262.
