More than 350 visitors enjoyed a self-guided tour in the first two hours of Abkahzi Gardens' open house Sunday, enjoying the flowers in bloom.
Volunteers were on hand to answer questions and tell the story of Prince Nicholas and Princess Peggy Abkhazi, "the garden that love built."
The attraction is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Lunch is served in the dining room 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., dessert and tea service from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. For more information visit http://www.abkhazigardens.com/ or phone 250-598-8096.
