Art at the Lake is on the lookout for a wide range of artwork and collectibles to feature in its upcoming fundraising online auction.

The call extends to prints, watercolors, pastels, oils, posters, statuary, vases, and various objects d’art. Whether you’re downsizing or looking to refresh your home decor, consider giving your pre-loved art a new lease on life by donating it to Art at the Lake.

Past contributions have included rare 12th-century Byzantine icons, a finely crafted hammered silver bowl from the Bogota School, and original pieces by renowned local artists.

For those interested in contributing, you can drop off your previously cherished artworks at the Prospect Lake Hall, located at 5358 Sparton Rd., just off West Saanich Road. The drop-off times are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following Sundays: Feb. 4, Feb. 11 or Feb. 18.

Art at the Lake serves as a fundraiser for the Prospect Lake District Community Association, with the proceeds dedicated to the maintenance of the historic Prospect Lake Hall, a cherished landmark at the heart of the Saanich Peninsula. The Prospect Lake Hall is among the few community-owned and maintained halls in British Columbia.
