Esquimalt residents can enjoy an early sign of spring in the form of the township's first ever Seedy Saturday event, March 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St. Hosted by the Esquimalt Community Gardens Society, the event will feature presentations on composting, raising urban chickens and green living. Admission by donation.
